Wildcats Compete On Day One Of BIG EAST Indoor Championships
DMR team finishes second in 11:35.74

Akron, Ohio - The women's distance medley relay team's second place finish highlighted Villanova's performance on day one of the BIG EAST Indoor Championships at Akron's Athletics Field House today.
The women's DMR duplicated the men in finishing second in another close finish. The team of Akilah Vargas, Jordan Sarruda, Frances Koons, and Zita Mezei ran 11:35.74, with the race coming down to a dead sprint in the final 200m.

A low key, but very productive weekend for the WIldcats, 7 meet records were set. In addition: there were several big east qualifiers for both the men and the women.
