Indoor Track / 12/16 Olympic Conference Meet ...
Last post by Nick - December 22, 2022, 03:39:42 PM
Here are the results of yesterday's Olympic Conference meet at the Bubble. It's usually a common occurrence for the first meet of the season for all teams to just be able to find their footing and get out the butterflies in the stomach so that the remainder of the meets for the season would be much better. However for us, we can all confidently say that we started off our season at our first meet with a bang! Already we achieved in our first meet of the season personal bests and personal goals all while (more importantly) feeling very confident in our abilities and having a great time! It is such a strong start for us and it will only get better as we progress through the season! Well done, everyone!

Here are the results of this afternoon's NPB State Championships at Holmdel Park. Despite some very hot weather conditions that affected all teams running, we ran by far the toughest race of the year! It truly was a peak performance for us and the amount of heart, determination, and true grit to run strong and pass other runners in front of you is what led to such outstanding results for today! Although we did fall short to St. Rose by only 17 points, their coaches said they went to the meet thinking it was going to be a slam dunk victory for them...but the way we ran today left them pacing anxiously awaiting the results. We are all so very proud of you all for stepping up when we needed to perform at our peak performance. And not only did we place 2nd overall as a team, but we have an individual qualifier for the Meet of Championships next week...congratulations team and congratulations Matt!

We are over the moon with how well you all have performed over this long season from way back in July. Every step of the journey led up to this point and nothing was wasted. You all stepped up in a big way when we needed you. Remember too that all of you will be back next year while our competition will lose many to graduation...next year it will be ours for the taking! Congratulations to you all again!

Here are the results of yesterday's Bob Kiessling Invite. It was a fantastic day of racing some very high caliber teams and when all was said and done, we had some incredible performances! There were many season's best and a huge personal best, but more importantly we ran tough in response to the other teams in the race and ended up placing second overall beating Camden Catholic who placed third! It is so encouraging to see such great performances and team score at this very important meet. It paints a very clear picture of who we are as a team and what we wish to accomplish 6 days from now at States! Great job everyone!!
